Description :

Guwahati-based Artfed in collaboration with the Development Commissioner for Handloom run under the Union Ministry of Textiles is going to organise a two-week long ‘Special Handloom Expo, 2019-20’ at Jonai town in Dhemaji district from November 27.

The handloom expo aims to promote marketing of Indian hand-woven textiles. Around 100 stalls are being prepared for facilitating exhibition-cum-sale of products manufactured by registered societies, NGOs and women self-help groups from different districts of Assam and other Indian states having handloom and textile products.
